It was fantastic to see so many friendly faces at our Trophy Assets Guide launch party. Held at the Wallace Collection in London, we were joined by around 200 guests for an evening celebrating the exciting world of trophy assets.
Ronald Graham, co-head of our International Private Wealth group, kicked off the evening with a short speech welcoming our guests. Dr Alison Smith, Director of Collections and Research at the Wallace Collection, then gave a talk on the fascinating history of the Wallace Collection's fine and decorative art.
Our 2024 Trophy Assets Guide
It's been almost a decade since we published the last edition of our Trophy Assets Guide. Since then, the trophy assets market has evolved considerably, with new asset classes like luxury bags, sports clubs and whisky emerging to join enduring favourites like real estate, classic cars and private jets.
All of these assets come with their own unique challenges. Purchasing, owning and selling them requires careful consideration from a legal, regulatory and tax perspective and a solid understanding of the risks involved.
We've written the new edition of our Trophy Assets Guide to help ultra high net worth (UHNW) individuals and their advisers understand the key areas they need to think about before investing capital to avoid potential pitfalls and to grow, protect and transfer their wealth in the most efficient manner.
It covers the key issues and disputes that can arise when buying and owning a variety of trophy assets, including:
- art
- classic cars
- superyachts and private jets
- fine wine and whisky
- luxury watches and handbags
- prime residential property
- commercial real estate
- country estates, agricultural and rural property
- hotels
- sports clubs
- non-fungible tokens (NFTs).
Alongside insight from experts within our Private Wealth group, we've also included the views of some of the world's most revered experts in this guide, and I'd like to thank them again for their valuable contributions.
How we can help you

We are recognised market leaders in private wealth advice from an international perspective.
